Ivy-Leaved Speedwell can be a nasty pest in gardens, forming thick mats which choke out other plants. They can be seen here taking over the community flower garden on Howard and Reed in South Philly. The gardeners have obviously been beating the plant back but they are also obviously losing the battle against it.
